New Delhi: Mid-fielder Rohit Kumar of CRPF School will lead Delhi State Football team participating in the 49th National Football Championship- 2013-14 for Dr.B.C. Roy trophy scheduled to commence from September 19 to 29 at Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Mid-fielder Akash Prasad was named as vice-captain of the team selected by DSA selection committee consisting of Sharafat-ul-aha - Chairman, Liquat Ali- convenor after 15-day open selection trials-cum- coaching camp held at CWG Sports Complex, Akshardham.

Delhi have been placed with hosts- Jharkhand, Assam, Tamilnadu. Delhi plays its first match against Assam om Sept. 20, followed by next against Jharkhand on Sept. 22 and the last one against Tamilnadu on Sept.24. One top team will qualify for the quarterfinals. The semi-finals will be held on September 26 and 27. The final is slated on September 29.
