The Sports Department, Chandigarh Administration is organizing 11th Administrator’s Challenge Cup All India Football Tournament (U-17 Boys) from September 22 to September 30 at Chandigarh Football Academy Ground, Sports Complex, Sector – 42, Chandigarh and Football Stadium, Sector – 17, Chandigarh.
The participating teams are :Panasonic Football Academy, Haryana 2. Mohun Bagan Sail Football Academy, Durgapur 3. Dalbir Football Academy, Patiala 4. Gujarat State Football Association, Gujarat, 5. Sahayatri Football Club, Howrah, 6. Mahilpur Football Academy, 7. Football Coaching Centre, Gorgaon, Nazira (Assam), 8. Sambalpur Football Academy, Sambalpur, 9. Gorkha Training Centre, Shillong, 10. J.J. Institute of Soccer, Bengaluru, 11. Thau Sports Academy, Manipur, 12. Bhaichung Bhutia Football School, New Delhi, 13. Army Boys Football Team, Patna, 14. AIFF Regional Academy, Navi Mumbai, 15. Chandigarh Football Association, Chandigarh 16. St. Stephen School, Chandigarh, 17. DAV Sr. Sec. School, Chandigarh and 18. Chandigarh Football Academy, Chandigarh.
The teams lodging arrangements have been made at Kissan Bhawan-35, Sports Hostel-42, Sports Complex-7, Cricket Stadium-16 etc. Medical of almost all the teams have been done. J.J. Institute of Soccer, Bengaluru have been debbared by the medical board as all the players are overage. Whereas 13 players of Football Coaching Centre Gorgoan Nazira, Assam are doubtful in medical.
The final medical of some doubtful players will be done at Govt. Hospital, Sector-16.AIFF, Mumbai (1 Player), Gorkha Training Centre, Shillong(3players), Sambalpur Football Academy(2 players) Sahayatri Football Club, Howrah(3 palyers), DAV School Football Team, Chandigarh(4 players), Thau Sports Academy, Manipur(4 players), Chandigarh Football Academy(2 players).
The tournament will be inaugurated by K.K. Sharma,IAS, Adviser to the Administrator on 22.9.2013 at Football Stadium, Sector-17, Chandigarh at 3.10 PM.
