Mohali: Thanks to some brilliant batting by Jaskaranvir Singh Sohi (140) and Gaurav Gambhir (181), Chandigarh scored a mammoth total of 668 against Mohali to garner three points in the ongoing Punjab Inter-District Cricket Tournament for Katoch Shield held at Yadavindra Public School cricket ground in Mohali on Tuesday.

Mohali were 40 for 1 in their second innings at the close of the day's play after which Chandigarh, who were declared winners, picked up three points while Mohali bagged a point.

Meanwhile in another match, Amritsar 207 were all out in 92 overs. Sharad loomba 57, Arush Sabharwal 31 and Charanjit 25 the were main run getter from Amritsar.Raghu Sharma 5 for 70 and Yogesh Kumar 2 for 67 they were main wicket takers for Jalandhar.
Jalandhar batting were 76 in 17.1 overs at the end of the day's play. Taruwar Kohli was unbeaten on 28 while Abhishek was on 45.

Jalandhar won the match by 10 wickets with a bonus point and got 7 points.
