New Delhi: Two new records were shattered on the second day of 49th Delhi State Open & Tiny Tots Aquatic Championship held at Senior Shayama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Pool.

Rahul Sharma of Jugla Singh Tairak Sangh broke his second record of the tournament in 200 meters breast stroke by clocking 02:32:71. Previous record was in the name of Ashish Tokas – Khalsa College established in 2012 with the time of 02:39:66. He also won gold medal in 400-m Individual medley for men.

Sidhant Sejwal of South Delhi Swimming Association broke the record of 50-m back stroke by clocking 0:29:57 in the heats. The previous record was in the name of Praveen Tokas with the time of 0:29:61 established in 2006.
