New Delhi: Delhi Public School, Mathura Road and Ryan Public School, Ghaziabad defeated their opponents to advance to the next round of 3rd A. R. Khan Memorial Inter - School Football Tournament being held at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium here on Wednesday.

In the 1st match, DPS, Mathura Road defeated Govt. Boys Sarvodaya Vikas Rajgarh School, Ghaziabad 3 - 1. The highlight of this match was a fine brace scored by Sartik Srivastva of DPS who struck in 35th and 52nd mintue while Vidant Gupta opened score 1 - 0 in 3rd mintue. Sunny pulled back one ( 1 - 1 ) for the loosers in 6th mintue Sartik Srivastva was adjudged man of the match award.

Later on, Ryan Public School, Ghaziabad prevailed over Govt. Boys Sr. Sec. School No.1 , Moti Bagh 1 - o. Harisht clinched match winner in 39th mintue. Suuny received man of the match award.
