Chandigarh: The inaugural matches of KXIP Cup held today at PCA stadium Mohali, witnessed superlative excitement and outstanding performance by some of the players. At the two matches played today between KXIP Blue vs KXIP Red and KXIP Green vs KXIP Yellow, KXIP Blue and Green, respectively emerged as winners.

Details of KXIP Blue vs KXIP Red match:

KXIP Red won the toss and elected to bat first and posted 100 runs on the score board. Parwinder Singh tried to stabilize Red teams batting order with his knock of 51 runs in 39 balls. But even that could help the KXIP Red’s innings.

KXIP Blue chased the score easily with 6 wickets in hand and 8 balls to spare.

Parwinder Singh’s splendid contribution won him the Man of the Match title.

Details of KXIP Green vs KXIP Yellow match:

KXIP Green won the toss and elected to bat. Hiten Dala and Sachin Sohal gave KXIP Green a good start after Chetan Sharma’s dismissal. KXIP Green posted a score of 138 for the loss of 5 wickets. KXIP Yellow batsmen fell short of 14 runs and posted a total of 124 runs at the end of their 20 overs.

Hiten Dalal from KXIP Green won Man of the Match title for his exemplary batting (37 runs from 35 balls).
