Maharashtra U-19s enter last-8

Pune: Hosts Maharashtra Under-19 girls rallied to score a hard-fought 6-5 sudden-death win over Uttar Pradesh and enter the Pune Football Club 58th National School Under-17 and 19 Football Girls Championship 2012-13, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Services, Pune, Maharashtra and Zilla Krida Parishad, at Balewadi Sports Complex, on Friday.

Trailing by a goal, Maharashtra found their hero in Alisha Ranikhenawala who scored from long range to cancel Uttar Pradesh’s Ruby Kayal strike.
