New Delhi: Ashoka Football Club scored a 2-1 victory over Mughal Sports Club in group-C preliminary League match-up of the DLF -ONGC- SAIL-Delhi Soccer Association(DSA) Annual A Division Open Clubs Football League Championship being played at the CWG Village Sports Complex, Akshardham here on Thursday.

Ashoka went ahead in the 24th minute through Anirban Barua. They increased the lead in the 26th minute.

After the change of ends, Vipul reduced the margin in the 45th minute.

In another group-C match, Indian Air Force (Palam) was held by Punjab Heroes.
