New Delhi: Shastri Football Club and Friends United FC registered victories over their respective opponents in the group - C and B preliminary league matches of the DLF - ONGC - SAIL - DELHI SOCCER ASSOCIATION ( DSA ) Annual A division Open Clubs Football League Championship being held at CWG Village Sports Complex, Akshardham here today.

In group - C, Shastri Club scored a 4 - 1 victory over Frontiers. Anuj scored the first goal in the 15th minute. Inside-right Ubed made it 2 - 0 in 28th mintue. Ashish increased the lead in 29th mintue. Frontiers' Anmol reduced the margin in 40th mintue. Avdesh completed the tally of 4 - 1 in 59th minute.

Earlier in group - B, Friends United defeated Bangadarshan 3 - 1 to secure three points. Deepak opened the scoring in 38th minute. Tanuj made it 2 - 0 in 44th minute. Both these goals came through penalty - kick following infringements inside the box. while Amol made it 3 - 0 in 52nd minute.

Bangadarshan's Amit Rawat reduced the margin in 67th minute.
