New Delhi: Modern School, Barakhamba Road scored a mammoth 353 runs for 6 wickets against Navyug Public School, Peshwa Road today. Batting first after winning the toss, Modern School’s Zorawar Singh and Madhav scored 100 and 102 respectively and Rahul Singha scored 54 runs to put the team in the winning position of the Coca-Cola Cricket Cup U-16 inter-school tournament, played at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.

In reply, Navygu School, were all out for 96 runs in 26 over. Diwakar Rawat’s 19 run inning was the highest by Navyug Public School. Rahul Singha and Karan from Modern School took 4 wickets each to derail the batting line up of Navyug School. Modern School won the match by 257 runs.

Parth Nagpal was adjudged Man-of-the-Match for his all round performance.
