New Delhi: The home team Bal Bhawan, Dwarka defeated visitors DAV Public School, Shalimar Bagh in a Group F match played today at Bal Bhawan School ground.

Bal Bhawan School won the toss and opted to bat first. Gupil Rai and Ankit Pratap Singh played brilliant shots to help team score 177 runs by losing 7 wickets in 35 overs.

DAV Public School’s Khwahish Lal (2/35) and Aditya Sharma (2/28) were the highest wicket takers for their team.

In reply, DAV Public School, Shalimar Bagh lost the match by 8 runs as they were bowled all out at 169 in 30 overs. Shubham 62 and Kunwar Suryansh 59 tried their level best to take their score to the opponents total but Bal Bhawan’s Ankit Pratap Singh kept on taking wickets at regular interval and made the situation against batting line-up. He took 3 wickets by giving 20 runs.

Ankit Pratap Singh was adjudged Man-of-the-Match for overall performance with bat and ball.
