New Delhi: Sainik School, Bijapur defeated Baroda High School, ONGC Gujarat 2-1 in the league round matchup of the 41st Nehru Junior Hockey Tournament here today.

Baroda started off well to take the lead in the first half of the match through a field goal by Parmar Dhaval, but two second half goal by the Sainik boys sealed their fate.

Suhas SL scored the first goal, while Pawan netted the second one for them.
Meanwhile in other matches, Shri Guru Harkrishan High School beat Govt. High School 6-1, while St. Xavier’s , Mapusa beat Govt. H.S.S Koichkai, Kerala 4-2.
