Sumit Rohra and Kanika Gupta emerge as new star of Delhi Tenpin Bowling

New Delhi: Tenpin Bowling Association of Delhi (TBAD) organised first ever Talent Hunt tournament for amateurs at Pepsi BLU O, Ambience Mall, Vasant Delhi 268 Players including 23 ladies Registered in this two day mega event.

Out of 245 men participant, Sumit emerged as a champion with his consistent performance throughout the tournament, he won the tittle shooting and average of 203 in the final Round. Jaladh Dua finished 2nd and Sahil Misri was the2nd Runners up in the Men's category. Mahak Agarwal won the award for Maximum Score in a single game.

24 Women participated in the Women's category, Where Kanika Gupta emerged as a champion, she rolled an average of 147 to win the tittle. Ritu Popli finished 2nd in a close encounter where she was only 3 pins behind from Kanika and Gurusharan Kaur finished 3rd in the Womens Category. Gurusharan also won the award for the highest score in a single game.

The spokesmen of TBAD Vikas Khurana said "Bowling is a very new sport for India and it is seen as an entertainment by lot of youngsters, our objective at TBAD is to promote the game in a way that the coming generation look at this game as a serious sport and play it at competitive level which can only be achieved by holding such events at regular intervals, which would help in making Bowling popular among the mass”.
