New Delhi: Modern  School,  Vasant Vihar defeated Army Public School, Dhula Kuan by  2-1 in preliminary round  league  match  of  the  1st  Delhi  Soccer  Association (DSA) INTER-School  Girls Football Tournament being  held  at  DDA  Netaji  Subhash  Sports  Complex  here today.

In  the  first  match,  Modern  School,  Vasant  Vihar  defeated  Army  Public  School,  Dhula Kuain  by  2 -1 Modern School's striker  Ankusha open the score 1-0 in  5th  mintue. Kudrat Mehta restored parity 1-1  in  15th  minute for  Army  School.  Ankusha completed  tally  2  -  1  in 23rd  mintue.

Later  on,  in  other  matches  of  the  day,  Amity  International ,  Saket drew  goalless  against Bullbells School.

Sadar  Patel School  also  played  goalless  against Step  by  Step  School,  Greater  Noida to  share one point  each.
