Chennai: V. Nithin Thiruvengadan ended victorious in the men’s singles and youth boys titles in the State-ranking table tennis tournament here on Sunday.

Nithin who is from Madras Sports Trust in the men’s singles beat Sivavanda Seshadri of Food Corporation of India 9-11, 11-4, 11-9, 9-11, 11-3, 11-3 while in the youth boys’ category he registered a 11-5, 11-8, 11-4, 9-11, 11-7 victory over Sushmit Sriram from Maharishi Vidhya Mandir.

Boys:
Youth: V. Nithin Thiruvengadan bt Sushmit Sriram 11-5, 11-8, 11-4, 9-11, 11-7.

Junior: D. Sameera Kumar bt K.R. Rohit 3-11, 11-5, 11-8, 11-8, 11-8.

Sub-junior: Sachin Vishwanath bt Rahul Krishna 11-1, 11-13, 11-9, 11-7, 11-4.
