Chandigarh: The Chandigarh State Sub-Junior and Challenger Rowing Championship for Men and Women will be held at the Lake Club on Saturday, the 19th May, 2012 at 0700 hours (07:00 A.M.). The following events will be conducted in the Championship: -

1.         Single Sculls     (1 x) (Open for Men and Women)
2.         Double Sculls   (2 x) (Open for Men and Women)
3.         Coxless Pairs   (2 -) (Open for Men and Women)
4.         Coxless Fours  (4 -) (Open for Sub-Junior Women only)
5.         Coxled Fours  (4 +) (Open for Sub-Junior Men only)

The entries close with Parmod Kumar Singla, Hony. Secretary, Chandigarh Rowing Association or Arvind Sehgal, Rowing Coach on the Friday, the 18th May, 2012 at 1800 hours (6:00 P.M.).


The selection of the team for the forthcoming 15th Sub-Junior and 16th Challenger Sprints  National Rowing Championships are being held at Kodaikanal (Tamil Nadu) from 10-17 June, 2012 will be made on the basis of the previous performance of the rowers, during camp and the above Chandigarh State Rowing Championship.

All Oars boys/ Oars Girls born on or after 1-1-1997 are eligible for the Sub-Juniors in the Championship.
