Patiala: Around eight out of 47 athlete’s urine samples have been found containing banned substances as per World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) guidelines during the 60th All-India Police Wrestling Cluster Championship - 2011, held at New Delhi recently.

The substances reported are ‘Furosemide (Diuretics)’ Mephentermine, Stimulant, Methylhexaneamine, Stimulant, ‘Nandrolone’, Anabolic Steroid, and Methandienone, Anabolic Steroid. The athletes involved belong to BSF, CRPF, Haryana Police and Punjab Police.
