Chandigarh: Hosts Pinegrove School triumphed over Sherwood College, Nainital by 8 wickets at the 3rd Invitational T-20 Cricket Tournament being played here at Pinegrove School, Dharampur. The win also helped them qualify for the finals.
Winning the toss, Sherwood elected to bat first and posted a decent total of 118 runs in their stipulated 20 overs. Vikas top scored with 34 runs followed by Deepesh who scored unbeaten 23.
For Pinegrove Sahil Bal 4-21 runs was wrecker in chief. He was helped by Mansher and Salil who chipped in with 2 wickets apiece.
Coming onto bat, Pinegrove romped home with in just 10.5 overs by losing two wickets. Parteek scored 43, while Aldrin belted 46.
