New  Delhi: Sanskirti  School,  Chanakayapuri  will  lock  horns  with  Apeejay  School,  Noida  in  the  final  of 2nd  AR Khan  Memorial  Inter-School Football  tournament to  be  held  on  Monday.

In  the  first  semi -  final  played  on Saturday,  Sanskirti  School,  Chanakaypuri  defeated  last  year's runners -  up  The Air  Force (TAFS  )  School,  Subroto  Park  by  a  solitary  goal to  enter  in the  final.   At  break,  both  teams  were  locked  goalless.

Both  teams  played  equally  good game  and  initiated good moves  but  forwards wasted  easy  opportunities  that came  in  their  way.   The  all-important  winning goal  came  in 12th  minute  of  the  initial  half  proceedings through  striker  Kshitiz  Darwari off  a  fine solo  effort.  He was adjudged  Man  of  the Match.

Later  on,  Apeejay  (  APJ  )  School,  Noida  scored  a  4  - 0  convincing  victory  over  strong Amity  International  School,  Noida in  second  semi- inal  match to  sep  up  a  final  clash with  Sanskirti  School.

In the 35th  mintue,  APJ   took  1  -  0  lead through  Rohan  Tuli.   On  changing  ends,  Kirtitkeya  increased lead  to 2-0  in  44th minute.  Rohan  Tuli again  struck  to  make  it 3-0  in  52nd  minute. Rahul completed  tally  4-0  in  56th  minute.
Rohan  Tuli  received  man –of-the  match  award.
