New Delhi: Apeejay School, Noida and Amity International School, Noida entered the semifinals of the second A.R. Khan Memorial Inter-School Football Tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Thursday. Apeeyjay defeated Bengali School, Vinay Nagar 5-2.

Kartikeya (2), Rohan Tuli (2) and Tushar Avasthi scored for the winner while Raju Mandal and Rajender netted for the losing team.

In the other match, Amity International defeated St. Columba's School 8-7 via sudden death after a 2-2 deadlock at the end of the regular session.

Palash and Omar Khan put Amity ahead 2-0 before Pranjal Das and Sourya equalised.

In the tie-breaker, Paul, Palash, Sumit, Mahesh, Indronil and Viron scored for Amity.

For St. Columba's, the scorers were Avinash, Franko, Pranja, Shivam and Akhil.
