Angamaly: In the boys' final of the 39th Kerala State sub-junior basketball championship on Sunday host Ernakulam will meet Thrissur. Thissur upset defending champion Kottayam 45-8, while Ernakulam defeated Thiruvananthapuram 31-15 in the semifinals on Saturday.

Thrissur will meet defending champion Kozhikode in the girls' final.

Girls: Kozhikode 26 (Anika 10) bt Ernakulam 9; Thrissur 35 (Rayna 20) bt Kannur 19 (Angel 10)

Boys: Thrissur 45 (Gokul 18, Sreejith 10) bt Kottayam 8; Ernakulam 31 (Shyam 10, Joshua 10) bt Thiruvanthapuram 15
