Chandigarh: Fatehgarh Sahib Cricket club defeated Ropar quiet convincingly by 48 runs in an u-19 match held in Ropar. Fatehgarh won the toss and elected to bat first, the decision to bat first was justified as their batsmen Daksh Aggarwal (65), Lovejit Singh (54) and Devinder Singh (24) took their team to a respectable total of 180 runs in 42 overs. In reply, Ropar could not produce anything extra-ordinary to surpass Fatehgarh’s score.

They were all out for 132 runs in 32 overs. Fatehgarh Sahib will now play Chandigarh Cricket Association tomorrow at the Chandigarh Cricket Stadium.
