Chandigarh: DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, Chandigarh, lifted the Chandigarh State Junior Handball (Boys) Championship defeating CC Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 23, by 40-37 in finals today.
Main scorer of winning side was Manavpreet Singh Bawa-14 goals, Vickey-10 goals Deepak-08 goals and Vikash-05. For the losing team Tarun-12 Rajesh-07 Tulsi-06 and Vikender-03 were the main scorers.
Third place went to Coaching Centre, Sector 42, which defeated CC Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19, by 24-23. Main scorers of the winner side were Parminder Singh 8 Vikramjit 7 and Sameer 4 and for the losing side Navkaran 8 Manish-7 were the main scorers.
