Garwal FC defeated Growing Star FC 1-0 in the finals to win the DSA Woman Football League-II tournament played at the Janki Devi memorial Girls College. Suhani Bedi was the solitary goal scorer of the match taking her side to a much deserved title.

In the first half, both team started on an attacking note trying to put pressure on their opponent’s defence. The girls from Garwal FC controlled the ball better and had the maximum ball possession in the first half, but failed to open their account.

After the change of side, Garwal FC got their first real opportunity and Sohani converted an excellent pass into goal and gave her team the lead. The match ended at that score.
