Chandigarh: Asav Kumar defeated Chiraz Singh in the final qualifying round of boys (U-12) category during the CLTA-AITA championship series tennis tournament for boys and girls (U-12 and 14) at CLTA tennis courts today.

The first draw saw Chiraz went down against Asav in straight sets 6-4 In the other matches of the same category, Vipul Mehta of Delhi defeated Arjun Grover of Haryana 6-1.
