Tiruvalla: The Mar Theophilos Trophy inter-medicos basketball tournament is to begin at the Pushpa stadium on Thursday.

Eight teams including host Pushpagiri Medical College will vie for honours in the men's section which will played on league-cum-knock out basis. Rajan Varghese, pro vice-chancellor of MG University, will inaugurate the tournament.
