Kolkata: Bhowanipore Club defeated Tapan Memorial Club by 16 runs to reach the semifinals of the CAB senior knock-out tournament.  Bhowanipore batted first and scored 278 runs, Abhishek Das scored a brilliant hundred to take his team to a commanding score.

In reply, Tapan Memorial could only manage 262 runs in their allotted quota of 45 overs.
