Chandigarh: DAV Club, Sector 8, outclassed Pr AG (Audit) Punjab 5-1 in the Chandigarh Senior Men Football Championship being played at the Sector-17 Football Stadium here on Saturday.

The DAV boys started off well making regular counter attacks and earned the first corner kick of the match in the 10th minute but could not convert it. However few minutes later they scored the opener when Manish Mundri powerful shot beat Audit’s goalkeeper all ends up.

Ajay playing on the right flank scored the second goal for DAV off a solo effort.

Audit down by two goals found their first goal when Sehajpal scored for them in the 22nd minutes.

After the change of ends, DAV were awarded two back to back penalty in the 50th and 51st minute and converted both of them. Few minutes later DAV scored the fifth goal to win the match on a convincing note.
