Nikhil Gangta, Prashant Chopra selected for emerging Under-23 players national camp

Dharamshala: Himachal players, Nikhil Gangta and Prashant Chopra, have been selected for the Emerging U-23 players India camp to be held from June 5th to 30th.

Nikhil Gangta who is right-hand batsmen and a Ranji player is the first player from Himachal to have scored unbeaten 200 at the national level. Prashant Chopra was a part of the world cup winning Under-19 Cricket team in 2012 and has been consistent at the junior and first class level cricket.

Commenting on the occasion, HPCA President, Anurag Thakur said, “It is always a pleasure to see such potential players. At HPCA, it is our continuous effort to provide world class infrastructure and facilities to our players so that they can excel in their game and create a distinct identity for themselves.”

Both the players have represented the state team in all district matches.
