The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Sarbananda Sonowal assumed charge of his office here on Tuesday.

Later, the Minister was briefed on the key initiative and policy frame work of the Ministry by Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs and Secretary, Department of Sports and other senior officials of the Ministry.
