Hockey India congratulates Chinglensana Singh Kanjujam for completing 50 international caps

The Hague, Netherlands: Midfielder Chinglensana Singh Kanjujam completed his 50 international caps during India’s match against Malaysia in the Rabobank Hockey World Cup 2014 played at The Hague, Netherlands on Saturday.

The 23-year-old Chinglensana Singh Kanjujam made his international debut in 2011 during FIH Champions Challenge 1, South Africa. Post that he went on to play the Test Series against South Africa in 2012 at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi.

Congratulating Chinglensana Singh Kanjujam, Dr. Narinder Batra, Secretary General, Hockey India said “Chinglensana Singh Kanjujam has made immense contribution in the team and I congratulate him for his performance for India since he made his debut. He has made us proud today. I wish him all the best for all the future games and hope that he continues the good performance in the future.”

Chinglensana Singh Kanjujam has to his credit of representing India during Asian Champions Trophy 2012 in Japan, Hockey World League Round 2, 2013 in Delhi, Hockey World League Semi-final 2013 in Rotterdam, Men’s Asia Cup 2013 in Malaysia and in recently held Hockey World League Final 2014 in Delhi.
