Talking about the match Played so far, Captain Barry Middleton said, “Being at the top of the pool and the excellent game that we have played so far gives us great confidence, which is essential to play well in the upcoming matches. We are definitely looking forward to deliver good results ahead in the tournament.”

Speaking on the sidelines of the Match against Belgium tomorrow, he further added, “We have played against Belgium many times and hence are aware about their good talent in the game. They are a pretty strong squad and it is really going to be a tough game tomorrow. We will be playing our usual game and I think we have good chances for all the upcoming matches.”

Speaking about the upcoming matches, Coach, Bobby Crutchley said,

"It really feels good to win all the matches and be at the top of the pool. However, it is not advantageous, as we do not know how strong the teams are in the other pool. The format is like this and we have to follow. We are getting the momentum and are prepared to put up a good show further. Belgium has a strong team and they have had some tight games and threw a tough competition for the opponent team, but lost at the last moment. It is going to be a tough fight tomorrow and we are going to have a good game".

About The team

Ace midfielder Ashley Jackson and attacker Mark Gleghorne both return to squad following injuries which kept them out of England’s fourth place at the Tri-Finance Euro Hockey Nations eveni in Boom, Belgium. The team finished third at Hockey World League Semi Final in Johor Bahru and produced enough evidence to ensure that they will be a team to be feared in Final Event in New Delhi.
