New Delhi: The England Team was at ease during the Practice session on Sunday at Major Dhyanchand National Stadium. The victory against India and Germany has brought in a postive mindset for the team and this was very evident in the session today.
Talking about the matches played so far, Head Coach Crutchley BOBBY said, “The Practice session was really good and it is helping the injured players to recover. The last matches we played aginst India and Germany were satisfactory and the win has raised the team’s confidence level. However, we are working for the quarter finals and trying to develop tactically, so that, we keep on with the good work. We will be using the Rest Day to practice for the upcoming matches so that we can play even better in future.
Speaking on the sidelines of the practice session, IAIN LEWERS, who will also be playing for the Uttar Pradesh Wizards in Hockey India League 2014 said, “We were all relaxed during the practice session. Winning the matches against India and Germany has been a big achievement. Now, our focus is on the other important matches, and we are working for it. All the teams participating are good and we need to keep the good work on for the quarter finals as well. We will be utilising the rest day to practice and work on the improvement areas”.
