IPL-Match 50: Players who can turn the table in the match between Rajasthan Royals and Pune Warriors

Rajasthan Royals would be looking to put up a good show at their home ground in Jaipur against the down and out Pune Warriors India here on Sunday. Rajasthan Royals have everything at stake as they have to win this game and need to be in the hunt for qualifying in the play-offs. Rahul Dravid and Shane Watson have been in brilliant touch with the bat and it would be interesting to see how they will bat against Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rahul Sharma, who have done well for Pune Warriors so far. With Brad Hodge back in the middle order, it will give RR some much-needed stability.

Here we bring to you the players to watch out for in the match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Pune Warriors India (PWI).

Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Shane Watson:
Watson would be looking to play a good knock once again at Jaipur. He has brought a great deal of flexibility in the Rajasthan bowling attack and his wicket taking ability has made him the cornerstone of his team. He is going to hold the key for Rajasthan’s success in this encounter against Pune Warriors.

Brad Hodge:
Hodge has played some brilliant cameos down the order and his presence in middle-order makes a great deal of difference because he has those aggressive shots which he can hit from the very first ball that he faces.

Rahul Dravid:
Dravid gives his team a lot of stability that is much needed in mid-overs. He needs to bat up the order so that pinch-hitters can bat around him which can put much more pressure on the opposition.

S Sreesanth:
Sreesanth might get his chance and his good form on this pitch will surely give him loads of confidence. His ability to move the ball both ways will come in handy as he can really trouble the right-handed batsmen of Pune Warriors batting line-up.

Ajit Chandila:
Chandila has bowled some brilliant spells in this IPL and would be looking to continue his stint with the ball. Chandila has the ability to give early breakthroughs which might come handy against Aaron Finch and Robin Uthappa.

Pune Warriors India (PWI)

Robin Uthappa:
Uthappa has been in brilliant form in this season but he needs to play those big innings more consistently. He would be really charged up with his 75 runs knock that he played against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last game.

Aaron Finch:
Finch has not been in best of form in the last few games. He needs to be a bit more relaxed as a batsman so that he can give his team an ideal start. He can be really dangerous if he bats freely and it is going to be interesting to see how he will lead his side in this match.

Steve Smith:
Steve Smith has been looking bit rusty in last few matches. He needs to be promoted up the order to make him much more effective and so that he can bat with less pressure. He  can be the trumpcard for his team in this match against Rajasthan.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar:
Kumar has bowled brilliantly from one end and he has showed his class day in and day out. But he needs to give those early blows which can give his team some sigh of relief in this crunch match.

Rahul Sharma:
Sharma has not been consistent with the ball and has paid the price for that. He needs to be bit more attacking to make his bowling look more effective on the field.
