New Delhi: Apurvi Chandela of Rajasthan won the gold medal with the score of 395 + 103.7 at the 56th National Shooting Championship held here at the Karni Singh Shooting Range today. Pooja Ghatkar of Maharashtra with a score of 395 + 103.5 was second while the bronze Medal went to Pournima Chinmoy of M.P. with the score of 396 + 101.6.
In Air Rifle Junior Women event Nikita Salunke of Maharashtra won the gold medal with the score of 396 followed by Apurvi Chandela of Rajasthan with 395 score and the bronze medal went to Mampi Das of West Bengal with the score of 393.
In Rifle Prone Event Sushil Ghaley of Army won the gold medal with the score of 593 + 102.4 followed by Rakesh Manpat of Karnataka with 591 + 103.2 score and the bronze medal was won by Sanjeev Rajput of Navy with the score of 588 + 104
In Sports Pistol Women Event Sushma Singh of Uttrakhand won the gold medal with the score of 580 + 200.5 and Rahi Sarnobat of Maharashtra won the silver medal with the score of 583 + 196.4. The bronze medal went to Annuraj Singh, Olympian with the score of 573 + 201.6
In Double Trap Women Event Shreyasi Singh of Bihar won the gold medal with the score of 88 and there was a tie for the silver medal between Seema Tomar and Varsha Tomar of Army with an identical score of 83. Seema outplayed Varsha to win the silver.
