The number one side will take on the number three side in the top of the table clash at Pune in what is the first match of the day. The last time Delhi Daredevils and Pune Warriors India met, the cricket fraternity saw one of the most respected leaders of all time Sourav Ganguly at his match-winning best.

Delhi even after losing the match is at the top of the points table and looks a very formidable side. Both the teams have some game changers in their side; let’s have a look at some of them.

Delhi Daredevils:

Kevin Pieterson: He is looking at his devastating best and has already played some match winning innings for the Daredevils. Pieterson can play some unorthodox shots and can play them really well. He has the ability to change the course of a match in a matter of few overs.

Morne Morkel: He is the current holder of the purple cap and is bowling beautifully. He is a genuine wicket-taker and can rattle any top-order batsmen. Morkel is a key bowler for Delhi.

Irfan Pathan: He was a bit expensive in the previous match and he will be itching to put the equation straight. Pathan is a genuine swing-bowler and has the ability to take early wickets. His batting skill is an added advantage for the Delhi team.

Pune Warriors:

Sourav Ganguly: He was the man of the match in the previous game and will once again be in the thick of action. He played a good innings the last time and supported Ryder quite well. His bowling was amazing in the match.

Steven Smith: He has been a revelation in this year’s IPL. Warriors should give credit to this young kid for the wins that they have got. He is also one of the best fielders in the tournament.

Murali Karthik: He took the all important wicket of Virender Sehwag in the last match in which he bowled beautifully. Karthik is an experienced customer and has been very efficient in this tournament.

Rahul Sharma: In the last few matches he has suffered badly and he will be looking to get his form back. He has a very good economy rate and is a big player in the Warriors’ side.
