New Delhi: Town High School, Orissa today pulled up an upset victory as they defeated tournament favorites and defending champion Birsa Munda Vidhyapitha, Rourkela 5-1 to cruise into the finals of the 29th Nehru Sub Junior Hockey Tournament played here at the Dhyanchand Stadium here today.

Birsa who carried their last years form into the tournament dominated its opponents in the initial stages of the tournament, but lost the momentum as the penultimate stage to be out of the championship race.

In the other stage, Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Ladowali, Jalandhar defeated Baba Gurmukh Singh UttamSingh Sr. Sec. School, Khadoor Sahib, Punjab 3-2 to make it to finals.
