New Delhi: On the opening day of the FINTRO Hockey World League Semi-Finals, Navjot Kaur marked her 50th International match playing against Belgium today. Since her debut, Navjot because of her skills as a midfielder has contributed through her outstanding performance on the field in every match that she has played.
Having made her debut in 2012 during a test series with New Zealand, the 20- year-old, hails from Haryana and is known for her speed alongwith providing the much required balance in the midfield position. She is even known for her abilities to initiate strategic moves for her team mates and forward players which helps break the defence chain of the opponents.
Congratulating Navjot Kaur on her achievement, Hockey India’s secretary general Md. Mushtaque Ahmad said, “Hockey India is extremely delighted for Navjot’s achievement of 50 international matches. The young midfielder has been an integral part of team India and always gives her 100% at all levels.
