Overcoming weaknesses our top priority: Terry

Indian-Hockey-Team-Practice-4New Delhi: Just after returning from the European Tour, India’s head coach Terry Walsh said that there were no second thoughts on how hard the players have worked throughout the training.

“It is indeed a very big physiological change that we need to get adjust with. The team played with much more confidence which proves the European Tour to be constructive as there are hardly any negative things that we can mention about,” said Walsh.

He added, “The basic things we want to prove and focus are the change in strength and power to work more on mid field, pace and be more patient in attacks. There are endless positive adjectives that I can mention about after returning from the European tour. There is a lot of scope for improvement and we are going to refine what we have already especially the foot work and better goal scoring for the upcoming World Cup. Also we are not very much worried about the results what we get but we want to bring about the changes by overcoming our weaknesses.”
