New Delhi: India shall be playing in the 2nd Sultan of Johar Cup 2012 in Malaysia from 11 – 18 November 2012.

Other competing teams in the tournament include Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and the hosts Malaysia.

Selection trials to select the Indian team were conducted at SAI Centre, Netaji Subash Institute of Sports in Patiala from 25 - 27 November witnessed by Hockey India Selectors Col. Balbir Singh, B.P Govinda and Thoiba Singh as well as Government Observer Harbinder Singh and
Coach Baljeet Singh Saini.

India will play its opening match against Australia on 11 November followed by matches against Germany, Pakistan, New Zealand and the host Malaysia.

The 18 member squad will be captained by Manpreet Singh while Kothajit Singh will be the Vice-Captain.
