Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh will be hoping to start their campaign on a good note when they take on the spirited Delhi in their opening Pool D match of the 2nd Junior National Men Hockey Championship here at the Major Dhyan Chand Astro Turf Stadium in Lucknow.

Besides UP-Delhi match, four more league matches would be played on the opening day of the nine-day championship.

Manipur meet Tripura at 7.00 a.m in a Pool B match, Pudicherry take on Rajasthan in a Group H match at 8.30 a.m.

Bihar play against Himachal Pradesh in another Group H match at 10.00 a.m, while MP Hockey Academy will lock horns with Andhra Pradesh in a Group F match at 3.00 p.m.
