Chandigarh: Chandigarh: Chandigarh golfer Aadil Bedi on Friday won the World Star Junior Golf Championship held at Paiute Golf Course in Las Vegas, USA. The 16-year-old Vivek High School student carded 72, 73 and 74 for a total of 219 and defeated Pablo Alvaraj by four shots for the title. Zimmy Zhang of Australia finished third place with score of 224.
“At last my dream to win in the USA became a reality,” said Aadil, who following his victory, has been invited to play in the British Junior Boys at Nairn Dunbar in the United Kingdom.
The Chandigarh boy has also been invited to play in the Junior Players championship at Ponte Vadra in Florida next month.
