Hyderabad: Reeling under erratic form Saina Nehwal gets one last chance to show her mettle at the Premier events. Winning a title appears to be a far cry for the Indian as she takes the field at the last of the OSIM Badminton Super Series Premier which kicks off at the Yuan Shen Gymnasium of Pudong at Shanghai on Tuesday.
The China Open is the last of the five Premier events in 2011 and Saina had not won any of the tournaments and her best was reaching the final of the Indonesia Premier in June. Despite not winning a Premier or a Super Series event this year Saina managed to hang on the No. 4 spot in the world but the Indian's pace and progress has been slowed down by a series a injuries.
The Hyderabadi shuttler, who consistently beat top players last year, has only one noteworthy performance this year when she beat 2010 world champion Wang Lin in July.
