Nagpur: Second seed and last year's runner-up Ajay Jayaram crashed out when he was stunned by No. 5 seed Eric Pang of Netherlands in the quarterfinals of the Dutch Open Grand Prix at Almere, Netherlands on Saturday.
With the exit of title favourite Ajay, PV Sindhu remained the only hope for India in the competition. The unseeded Indian, who impressed everyone with her superb effort in the tournament, will clash with top seed Porntip Buranaprasertsuk of Thailand in the women's singles semifinals.
