I am not going to make a comeback to the International cricket, says Michael Hussey

michael-hussey“I am not going to make a comeback to the International cricket,” says Mr Cricket, Michael Hussey. Australian team is going through a rough patch and to make it worst was the result of second Test which brought them a sixth defeat in a row. England managed to register a win by 347 runs on Day 4 of the Test.

Hussey wants to give time to his family and is in no pressure to make a comeback to the Australian team which has some serious issue with their batting. Hussey believes that hard-work done in right direction can still bring the change in fortunes of Aussies.

Hussey was quoted by Deccan Herald saying, "I am sort of glad as I'm not really in that pressure situation. There's a lot of stress and tension involved, so I certainly haven't missed being out there on the international stage. Despite being 2-0 down in a five-match series, I am still hopeful that Australia can turn it around.”

Meanwhile the reports published in The Hindu quoted Former Australia captain Allan Border saying, “Lower-order has shown more spirit and character.in comparison to our top-order batsmen.”

He added, "Our major concern right now is the performance of the top six. I could honestly say the nine, 10 and jack looked more competent than our one, two and three. If that was me in the top three I'd be embarrassed. We need to settle on our best 11 and stay with it. I'm a believer in the pick and stick method, so we need to find our best 11 suited to the conditions and stick with it."

Former Australian Captain wants that role of Shane Watson should be made clear especially in the batting order otherwise it would be a waste of a talent. He was quoted by Indian Express saying, "Is Shane not listening, or are people saying bad luck, you got a good one? We need to find out what the best is for Shane. Is it opening the batting? Or maybe batting at six and making him a genuine allrounder? Whatever it is we need to find out soon or Shane's time will have come and gone and we won't have seen the best of him. The buck stops with Shane and he needs to figure it quickly because it will be a real shame if he doesn't fulfill his potential.”
