Rahul Dravid is happy the way his team had performed against Sunrisers Hyderabad and made sure that they won’t get bogged down by the controversy that’s happening around them. Under the charges of spot-fixing involving three Rajasthan Royals players -- S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankit Chavan – who were arrested by Delhi Police on Thursday, the mood around the team wasn't encouraging.
Dravid was quoted by Times of India saying, "We should not look to wrap up the things instead the matter should be investigated properly and concrete conclusion should come out. Team had a bit of a tough time and were shocked after this incident but I am happy the way they left all those baggage and came up with some good performance against Sunrisers."
Mr Dependable was quoted by Hindustan Times saying, "It was some great spirits shown by the team-mates when they were on the field and their hunger to win this game which gave me a sense of pride. I have always enjoyed playing at Hyderabad and it was a treat to see there were supporters for us too despite the recent controversy."
According to the recent reports of Indian Express, the WALL was said, "It went bit difficult to adjust to the conditions which gave Hyderabad to sneak through our batting line-up in the mid-overs. I was happy that we restricted them to a low total but it was bit difficult to chase down that target because of some high quality bowling from every bowler of Sunrisers.”
He said, "This break will surely be good for us and we are flying back to Jaipur before we make it to the play-offs. We would be looking to practice in a much harder way for the play-offs. It is good to be in the top fours and we would be looking to lift that IPL trophy after putting some brilliant performances in upcoming matches.”
As per the recent reports of DNA Dravid was quoted saying, "Personal milestones doesn’t matter to me much but the team making to play-offs does. I had scored some good amount of runs for my team and I hope will continue to do so in the upcoming matches. Team has grown from strength to strength in last three years and especially youngsters putting up their hands and fancying their chances is the biggest achievement for me. James Faulkner has been a brilliant find for us, he is just 22 and Australia is lucky to have someone so good with the ball.”
