N Srinivasan refuses to step down as BCCI president, says he has done nothing wrong

BCCI chief, N Srinivasan had made it quite clear that he is not ready to step down from the post of BCCI president as he had done nothing wrong.

He was quoted by Indian Express saying, "Media has not been fair to us and some of the political parties are after my registration whereas I have done nothing wrong. Instead media has gone overboard and this is just unacceptable.”

According to the recent reports of Times of India, the BCCI chief was quoted saying, “All this demand of resignation is being planned and plotted by some vested interests. BCCI has some rules and regulations to which everyone abides by and I know it very well that there are some people over there who don’t wants to see me in the office but there are many who wants to stay me in the office and they have texted me.”

"I was unaware of the activities that my son-in-law, Gurunath, was doing. I even did not go to watch the matches of Chennai Super Kings. If someone wants to replace me let them get elected," Srinivasan said, according to media reports.
