Kings XI need more consistency in IPL Season 6, says coach Lehmann

Darren Lehmann, coach of Kings XI Punjab, has made it clear that consistency will make a huge difference in this edition of Indian Premier League. Kings XI Punjab lost their previous match to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 10 wickets and is looking forward to get on the right track against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Sunday.

According to the reports in Indian Express, Lehmann was quoted saying, “We started off by a thumping victory against Pune Warriors India but CSK outplayed us in the last match. We need to play some very good cricket to maintain the much needed consistency as the bar of competition is very high this season. But as of now, we are going with one match at a time strategy and are not thinking too much about play-offs.”

As per the recent reports in Times of India, Kings XI coach was quoted saying, “Local talent should come up with some good performances as they are the ones who know these conditions better than anyone. We have one brilliant local talent in Aniket Choudhary who had done well in practice matches and in nets which people will see very soon.”

“ Azhar Mahmood and Adam Gilchrist is a great asset to us just like what Rahul Dravid and S Sreesanth for Rajasthan Royals and I am expecting a really close match and as far as pitch is concerned it looks really good and curator has done some very good job on this strip,” Lehmann was quoted saying by The Hindu.
