From this position , only one team can win and that is India: Murali Vijay

Indian Opener Murli Vijay took a dig on Australian batting by saying that “it won’t be easy for Aussies to bat on the final day.” He was looking quite confident that Indian team will hit the winning hat-trick in Mohali tomorrow.

According to the recent reports of Deccan Chronicle, Vijay was quoted saying that, "Ball was moving from the very first day and it was reversing quite well throughout the day and that was the real reason for the success of fast bowlers. The wicket is keeping low and slow which makes it a difficult pitch to bat on,"

Vijay, who cracked 153, his second century in a row, added, “"We are on a driver’ seat and from here on only one team can win and that is India."

As per the reports in Times of India, Vijay was reported saying , “I have been working really hard on my batting and spending as much as time in the middle is my first priority. I know that once I am settled in the middle I can shift my gears if it is required.”

He added, “Shikhar Dhawan came up with a brilliant 187 in his very first Test inning which is an extraordinary feat in itself. The way he took the charge off Australain bowling is a very rare site for any cricket lover.”

As per the recent reports of Indian Express, Vijay said, "I am happy with the way I am piling up some big runs as it gives confidence and it’s good that it comes against some good fast bowling like Peter Siddle. I lost my wicket because of lapse of concentration."

He added, “Shikhar Dhawan and I planned to have a big partnership, I am lucky and happy it’s going our way.”

After conceding a 91-run first innings lead, the visitors were struggling at 75 for three at stumps, on the penultimate day with Bhuvneshwar producing a brilliant spell to remove openers David Warner (2), Ed Cowan (8) and Steven Smith (5), who was promoted ahead of injured captain Michael Clarke.

At stumps, Phillip Hughes (53*) is fighting hard in the company of night-watchman Nathan Lyon (4). Vijay today slammed his third Test century, incidentally all three have come against Australia, and he said it felt good to score against the top team of the world.
