Dhoni describes Rohit as ‘most god-gifted talent around’

Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Wednesday praised Rohit Sharma for his contribution in India’s well deserved five wickets victory over England in the fourth ODI and described him as “most god-gifted talent around, says a report in The Times of India.

According to the reports of the Indian Express, Dhoni said that “I am glad that he scored runs because he is the most god-gifted talent around. Of course an innings like this was very much needed from him. It will give him a lot of confidence and also time at the top-level. Personally I am very happy for him.”

As per the reports in Deccan Chronicle, when Dhoni was asked what if Rohit would have failed to deliver then, he said that it was the difficult one to answer. “I don’t know what would have happened if he had not played well, the best thing we could have done is give him another chance in Dharamsala and then see because we are not playing too many ODI’s after that.”
